The third collaboration between Asics and Vivienne Westwood, the GEL-KAYANO™ 26 sneakers are high-performance running shoes designed to pay tribute to the iconic sack shoes first shown in the Westwood & (Malcolm) McLaren AW82/83 Nostalgia of Mud collection. That original leather wrap design has been adapted into a semi-transparent mesh cover with a drawstring fastening to replace laces. The Asics logo shows through in fragments from beneath. The professional performance soles feature FLYTEFOAM™ Propel midsole, rearfoot GEL™ technology and FLYTEFOAM™ wedge, GUIDANCE TRUSSTIC™ system, forefoot twist GEL™ technology and the I.G.S™ (Impact Guidance System) composed of DYNAMIC DUOMAX™ support system. The Westwood signature Orb Saturn logo is featured in the METACLUTCH™ external heel counter, along with reflective shields at the rear.
